A Complete Guide to Graduation

Graduation Day Essential Information
Friday, June 14, 2013
12:00 PM - Please arrive no later than 10:45 AM.

File Your Graduation Application
Contact your Academic Counselor to discuss completing your Graduation Application by the specified deadline.

Invite Guests
Students may purchase invitations by visiting www.keyplusinc.com if they choose.

Tickets are not required to attend the Commencement Ceremony; family and friends may simply arrive at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall and choose a seat in the audience. There is no limit on the number of guests you may bring.

Receive Your Diploma
Diplomas will be mailed to students following the ceremony, typically within six weeks. Students must have a zero balance on their account to receive a diploma. If you have questions concerning your diploma or wish to update your contact information, please contact your Academic Counselor.

Weekend Activities
We host a Meet & Greet Welcome Reception from 9 to 10:30AM the morning of graduation. An invitation will be sent to all online students that have indicated they will be attending the ceremony.

Class Ring
The Art Institute of Pittsburgh does not order class rings.

Exceptions to Participate
The Events and Travel department are not able to grant exceptions for students to participate if they still have one or a few courses to complete.
