Minimum Technology Requirements and Recommendations for Academic Programs

Computer: As a general guideline students should not have computer specifications less than a Pentium III CPU, Windows 2000 or XP, and 512 MB RAM or MAC G4 or G5 processor, Mac OS X, and 512 MB RAM. Actual hardware requirements are dependent on the software titles and versions required for class. The requirements for running the software vary and are subject to change. Note: Please check the system requirements for the software as specific Microsoft service packs may be required for Windows 2000 or XP. These service packs are available as free downloads on Microsoft's web site: www.microsoft.com.

Internet Connection: 56K or faster Internet connection is required for online courses, however broadband is strongly encouraged.

Browser: Courses offered online are best viewed using Microsoft Internet Explorer v5.5/6.0 (PC), Safari 2.0 (MAC), or Firefox.

I have reviewed the Minimum Technology Requirements and Recommendations for Academic Programs document and the AiO Course Catalogue and am fully aware of the minimal and the optimal technology recommendations as well as the required textbooks, supplies and other supporting materials for the classes for which I am enrolled or will enroll. I understand that failing to obtain or provide the minimum technology, supporting textbooks, supplies and/or other resources for each of those courses may mean that I will not be able to fully participate in the classes, complete the required assignments, and/or achieve the stated course outcomes.
